Holiday Baking Inspiration: Coconut Macaroons

The package includes a traditional German coconut macaroon recipe. For approximately 30 cookies, it calls for 3 egg whites, 120 g sugar, 200 g shredded coconut, 2 packets vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and 40 mm Küchle baking wafers. Spoon the mixture onto the wafers and bake according to your recipe. The package indicates enough wafers for approximately three batches of this recipe.

Note: The baking wafers themselves are labeled vegan; the optional macaroon recipe printed on the box contains egg whites.
